The prophet, Malachi, spoke: “You have wearied God with your words.”
“How have we wearied him?” you ask.
By saying, “All who do evil are good in the eyes of the Lord.”
But Malachi didn’t stop there. He said more. He said that the messenger of God, someone greater than himself, was being sent to put those who have wearied God on trial. This messenger will be quick to testify against “those who defraud laborers of their wages, who oppress the widows and the fatherless, and deprive the foreigners among you of justice…”
This is the message that got Jesus crucified. Is this the Jesus we serve?
Malachi 2:18-3:5
