April’s 2019 “Fun Bible Stuff” Blog

In 2018, I enjoyed writing about love. All year!

But this year… I am going to write about scripture. Mostly the weird stuff and strange stories. Things that you might not know about. Things that might be controversial. You are welcomed to comment and even challenge me!

This should be fun! Please find the “Follow me” button somewhere on this page and follow along.

  1. So refreshing to google search non-conservative Christian and have this come up! I love that there are so many others who relish the questions not just the answers in the bible, and can play with it without feeling guilt or fear knowing that the God who made slime mould (like, how does that even work? If you’re a nerd look it up it’s amazing) and butterflies (so much useless beauty!) and sex and crop rotation and antimatter has got it sorted and we don’t always need answers! 2. I once saw a Bible quote where God is (apparently) with other gods telling them they need to shape up and act like gods. I have no idea where it is in the Bible; if you know I would love to see a post about that!

  3. Unbelievably frustrating. It tells me that I already have an account when I try to “follow.I get notification in the mail but don’t know how to read the whole article. Why don’t you just print the whole dang article? I don’t see a “follow me” button. It doesn’t take my password that I use for almost everything. I don’t want another one because I’ll lose that too if I lost this one. What I have mostly lost is patience. Be well, have a great day and all nice wishes. Joan Mistretta

    • Joan, Hi! I am working on having the whole article print in the email, but it may be a few weeks. However, you should be able to read the whole article by clicking on “read more of this post” in the email. It should take you to the whole article when you click on that. So sorry! April
